KONNTRA is a result of a friendship, creativity and belief that everything can be achieved. It is a mixture of the present and the future, something that is nowadays, in countries of former Yugoslavia, fairly rare, especially with such a result. Māgoa is proud to present 3 young architects, Mirjana Lozanovska and Silvija Shaleva from Macedonia and Erik Jurišević from Slovenia.
“Fashion illustration is something that very recently became something I love to do. I get my inspiration from collections that have been coming out these past few seasons: there are so many designers whose work I love.
“It is easy for young illustrators to get lost in the predominant trends of the moment as we all wish for people to like our work. Emulating these trends might seem like a shortcut, but it’s not. Focus on who you are and what you want to tell, then sketch it out.”
“Perfection bores me. That is the reason I sometimes take the pen with my right hand. Mistakes are essential: I don’t erase anything, because even mistakes have an essence of their own. I like to maintain a different outlook on things.”
