Māgoa presents Irena Mulec: ex-blogger, who’s always genuine when it comes to fashion and lifestyle. So now let’s all welcome our new team member, who will write a column every month and share her daily adventures with us.
Once again, Māgoa presents Lydia Hansen. This time her raw and extremely vulnerable editorial, hence the name, Vulnerability. Lydia Hansen is currently based in Berlin where she studies photography at the University of Applied Sciences Europe. She grew up on the Faroe Islands, surrounded by nature and this has influenced her vision, seeking natural beauty in her portraits and fashion photography.
Māgoa presents “Spleen”, a fashion editorial submitted by the talented photographer Vittorio Giordano, based in Caserta, Italy.
“Fashion illustration is something that very recently became something I love to do. I get my inspiration from collections that have been coming out these past few seasons: there are so many designers whose work I love.
“It is easy for young illustrators to get lost in the predominant trends of the moment as we all wish for people to like our work. Emulating these trends might seem like a shortcut, but it’s not. Focus on who you are and what you want to tell, then sketch it out.”
“Perfection bores me. That is the reason I sometimes take the pen with my right hand. Mistakes are essential: I don’t erase anything, because even mistakes have an essence of their own. I like to maintain a different outlook on things.”
“Edgy, provocative, raw.”
